Our Family Prayer

Heavenly Father,Before we were formed in the womb, you knew us and placed us in our wonderful family. We thank you for the gifts and talents, similarities and differences we enjoy within our family. May our family radiate your peace, joy and love amongst ourselves and within our communities. In the midst of life’s joys, sorrows and glories, may You be our rock of refuge, the source and strength and encouragement we need to do your will in our lives. In those times we do not fully live up to your calling, give us the grace and courage to humble ourselves and ask for your forgiveness and to those we have let down. We ask Mary to continue to nurture our relationships with you and our family; just as she did with the Holy Family in Nazareth. We thank you for the opportunity to come together today as a family and we thank the 10 brothers and sisters who were inspired by you to start our family reunion. May they see you at this time face to face. We as a family are a work in progress. May you continue to mold and make us in your Image and Likeness so that when we meet you one day you will see the reflection of your Son in the way we have lived our lives.
